San Francisco is just an hour away, southward along Highway 101. You can take a train called SMART and connect with bus and ferry schedules to cross San Francisco Bay into downtown San Francisco.
KOA Petaluma has hundreds of tree covered campsites. Some sites are free of tree canopies so you can set up your satellite TV. Cable TV is available and included in the tariff. This KOA RV Kampground also has luxury ensuite campsites with a paved patio, modern patio furniture, a shade umbrella and fire ring. Many of these ensuite sites have soft green grass bordered by lush garden hedges and flowering shrubs. More like glamping!
The inground swimming pool is heated and open all year. A hot tub is also located in the pool enclosure. Summer time offers great entertainment for children with a rock climbing feature and a petting zoo.
